EFI - Economic Fundamentals Initiative - strives to bring economics, in simple terms, to everyone in former communist countries in their local languages.
For almost 30 years, after the fall of communism, 400 million people had no access to economics explained in simple terms.
To help them use the power of economics in everyday life, EFI adapted ad American textbook, Common Sense Economics (CSE), to make it relevant to the region.
Now, EFI has translated Common Sense Economics into Albanian, Armenian, Azeri, Georgian, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Macedonian, Montenegrin, Russian, Ukrainian and Uzbek, with more on the way.
